Oracle PLSQL - Difference between procedure and function

  1. NayHoh,

Muchas Gracias Mi Amigo! You make learning so effortless. Anyone can follow you and I would not mind following you to the moon coz I know you are like my north star.

I changed following configuration file and restart the server .
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS13.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting
    Add following line

After restart , log generated ReportServerService__04_16_2018_13_58_15.log
But I saw there is an error as follows

Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Version 2015.0130.4466.04 ((SQL16_SP1_QFE-CU).171222-1041)

Once again thanks for your tutorial.

    Thank you,

  2. Hello There,

In total awe…. So much respect and gratitude to you folks for pulling off such amazing blogs without missing any points on the Oracle PLSQL - Difference between procedure and function. Kudos!

I have a table with column two columns

Ex: Let us consider the two columns as below:
    Col1 Col2
    1 A
    4 D

    My requirement is to get

    Col1 Col2
    1 A
    2 A
    3 A
    4 D
    5 D

That is to update Col2 where it is null with the previous non null value as shown.

Here it is only 5 records but it can vary

By the way do you have any YouTube videos, would love to watch it. I would like to connect you on LinkedIn, great to have experts like you in my connection (In case, if you don’t have any issues).

    Thanks a heaps,

  3. Hello,

11/10!! Your blog is such a complete read. I like your approach with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Linux. Clearly, you wrote it to make learning a cake walk for me.

how to find first nonspace character from end of the string

    ex: 'abc def g '

I should get 4 in this case. (the first nonspace character from backwards in the above example is g and the position is 4 from backwards.

Could you help me in getting this?

I am so grateful for your blog. Really looking forward to read more.

    Best Regards,
